Do I have to do anything myself to get the Granny Flat approved?

No, we can manage the entire process for you.

Do you custom build the granny flats, or are they kit homes?

We are NOT a kit home company. All our buildings are constructed on site, using quality licensed tradespeople.

I live on a battle axed block. Can I still build a granny flat?

Yes, as long as it complies with the guidelines.

Do I have to choose one of your standard designs to put on my block?

No, we can customize a design to suit your block and your needs.

I have my own plans, can you build it?

Yes, we can offer you an obligation free quotation.

How long will it take to get approval before we can start building?

Depending on whether your site complies with the SEPP , it could be as quick as 10 days through our Private Building Certifiers, or if it does need to go to Council, then it could take approximately 6 -8 weeks for approval.

How long does the construction process take?

Generally, it should take no more than 8-10 weeks for completion, subject to weather and other unforeseen circumstances.

Can you build for handicapped accessibility?

Yes, our designs can be modifies to suit necessary requirements.

Can I have an input as to what finishes I use?

Of course, we are more than happy to work with you.

Are you a licensed and insured builder?

Yes, we hold current builders license, Public Liability Insurance, Home Warranty Insurance and Workers Compensation Insurance.

Do you offer any warranties or guarantees?

Yes, we offer 7 year structural warranty and a maintenance period of up to 6 – 12 months.

So what’s not included?

Any bond payments to council and any Section 94 Contributions.

Are site costs and service connections included?

Yes. Our standard pricing includes all relevant site costs and service connections including, Water, Sewer, Power, Telecommunications as well as Gas if nominated.
